The Zoomer Report: Chores and sex

Some call it "choreplay". In simplest terms, women give kisses to men who do dishes.

Men, listen up! It's just been proven scientifically. You can improve your love life by doing more housework.

A study published in the American Journal of Public Health showed a "significant association" between a husband's contributions to domestic chores and his wife's emotional health. And therapists say there's a "direct correlation" between men doing more housework and the frequency of sex.

The study says when men do more of the housework, women's perceptions of fairness and marital satisfaction rise and the couple experience less marital conflict.

And a poll in Parenting Magazine found that watching a man perform housework can be as potent an aphrodisiac as oysters and George Clooney movies. Some call it "choreplay". In simplest terms, women give kisses to men who do dishes.

And no wonder, even though the numbers show men have doubled the amount of housework they do in recent years, it's still only half of what women. And for a woman, just having a husband adds 7 hours a week of housework.

Interesting! I noticed a while ago that my daughter-in-law treats her three teenaged sons a lot nicer now that they help with housework and cooking. So helping has advantages for whoever the helper is!

I think this is not always the case. I have done much of the chores for years and disagree with the findings of the study. Only works for some I guess, sigh!
